The Ganpati festival has started in right earnest yesterday. He is known as the destroyer of all obstacles and worshipped widely across the country in a big way.

The priest (my cousin) making the offerings to Lord Ganesha.

The lunch plate filled with yummy food followed by rice, dal and dessert (kheer).
