These are workers at a different level - the organised sector. The difference in the working conditions as against the previous picture is obvious.

Roof building

These daily wage earners risk their lives building a roof as a protection from rains for a private company. This is not unusual and reflects on the rampant exploitation of labour.

Mangroves..

Mangroves that are slowly making way for 'development' in Bandra (East). Mangroves are considered to be very important ecologically but the builder lobby along with politicians think otherwise leading to the decimation of ecological balance. Quite a few non governmental organizations have taken up cudgels to save our delicate environment. Hope common sense prevails over Mammon.
