In Santacruz (East), a suburb of Mumbai, in a place called Kalina is this Military camp/outpost. At the gates there is a tank on display and during the monsoons it is protected from the rains by a tent.
very ineresting, in greece we have outdoor cafes in the summer. to make them indoor cafes for the winter (when it is mainly cold, not just rainly), a plastic trasnparent tenting material is used. it works quite well
I like the notion of a tank that needs an umbrella!
ReplyDeletecomme Kris, le tank pour faire de l'ombre est une bonne idée ;o)
ReplyDeleteas Kris, the tank to make the shade is a good idea ;o)

ReplyDeleteFunny. Looks like it doesn't quite fit inside the tent. Well, if a tank is ever funny...
ReplyDeleteIs the tent strong enough to withstand the monsoons?
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to see this picture - in many countries you're not allowed to photograph military subjects.
Tank in a tent?! Who'd have thought tanks don't like getting wet :)
ReplyDeleteWaiting for the worst? love that famous building of yesterdays post.
ReplyDeleteI agree with kris...an umbrella
ReplyDeleteI think it is a proof of peaceful.
