Very interesting shot of a simple scene in the city. I always wonder how you manage to get shots like these? Even the cats were on tops of roofs. Do you really climb up there?
You're an adventurer! I'm sure you even knew before climbing, there was a good view up there to find the perfect shot. This litlle bucket was wiating for you, to become 'famous'.
Maybe this is the "pro-active variation" of putting a bucket under a leak in the roof? After all... those Mumbai rains... I've heard they can't be trusted. Not a bit. No warning whatsoever.
And where were you that you managed to take a photo of this intriguing pail? :)
ReplyDeletetu joues au acrobate pour prendre ce type de photos (du toit), superbe b&w.
ReplyDeleteyou play the acrobat to take such pictures (the roof), superb b&w.
a good monochrome shot - this could also represent the old days just as equally as the modern world
ReplyDeleteLots of contrast as well as photoreportage. I like it.
ReplyDeleteYou really do a good job of combining the two memes. It is always a pleasure to stop by on Monday!
ReplyDeleteYou have combined two in one too. I lke the mono, really emphaises the textures and the bucket is just plain odd sat there.

ReplyDeleteThere is so much to see in this photo! The little bucket is an odd thing to find on a roof. So are the plants! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a real homemade solution to something. All that's missing is a little duct tape!
ReplyDeleteRain harvesting! Lol!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo for both themes :)
Interesting shot...did you climb up on the roof to take the shot? Or were you in a building above it?
ReplyDeleteTwo for the price of one. Well done.
ReplyDeleteNothing would surprise me in India--though I should say that nearly everything surprised me in India.
ReplyDeleteI find the picture below yoou bucket even more odd ! What kind of critter is that ?
ReplyDeleteIncredible detail in this pic! It really looks wonderful in monochrome!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I like this! Sorry I'm so late visiting - life has been hectic this week. Thank you for your kind comment.
ReplyDeletegreat old-time shot - the scene it portrays is very retro, but i suppose it still exists even now in some countries
