Peace at last!
As of 1022hrs this morning the news in is that the all terrorists have been eliminated and one arrested. He is apparently singing now and the information that he has given is chilling. Apparently the plans were to blow up and reduce to rubble The Taj and The Oberoi hotels which were considered to be icons of prosperity of Mumbai. This is where it is similar to the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Centre and the blowing up of the JW Marriot hotel in Pakistan. Kudos to our security forces who prevented or rather minimised the damage to lives and property to a great extent. The sanitisation process of the Taj hotel is still underway, after which an exact count of lives lost will be available. Presently the body count stands at 156 and the injured over 300. These include the civilians and the security forces who were martyred.

Skywatch - Terror under these skies
The terror continues. There are some hostages still to be released and terrorists still to be dealt with in 2 Hotels and 1 residential building. The process has to be obviously handled with utmost care to avoid collateral damage. It is anticipated that the drama will end by 1400hrs Indian time. It is 0940hrs. now. An elite group of NSG (National Security Group) and marine commandos along with aerial support from the IAF (Indian Air Force). It is war!
The death toll since the terror attacks began has now risen to 125.
Hopefully this is the last sunset seen by the terrorists!
Thank you guys for all the good wishes.

ABC Wednesday - Q for Quintet
Had been to this concert showcasing the upcoming musicians. This Quintet played Indian classical music and a mix or fusion too of Western and Indian classical music. Chirag is the musician in the centre playing the Sitar, Ninad playing the flute or Bansuri as it is called in Hindi, on the percussion instrument the 'tabla' is Ojas, keyboards - Joel and Manoj on the drums. They played very well indeed.
Have posted a short video clip on the side bar of his performance.
