we had this kind of closeness in our skies too - isn't it amazing: crete and mumbai are seeing the same skies most nights! but why dont we have similar weather patterns?!
I can believe the lunar perigee occurred on 12 Dec, I was trying to use the full moon to light a night shot that night. Unfortunately it didn't quite work out like I planned it.
But I love what it's done for this shot! Leora hit it spot on when she said "velvety".
Andyet again, our sky would not relent and let me see it.
ReplyDeleteGood choice.
I saw the moon last night here; it looked almost like that, a little hazier. The rest of your scene has this velvety texture.

ReplyDeleteThat's lovely. We had overcast skies, with no sight of the moon for a week or more.
ReplyDeleteIt was too cloudy here for me too get. This is really haunting.
