Monochrome Monday

The Mumbai moon on 10dec08 at 1928hrs. Apparently the moon was closest to earth on 12dec08.

  7. we had this kind of closeness in our skies too - isn't it amazing: crete and mumbai are seeing the same skies most nights! but why dont we have similar weather patterns?!

  17. I can believe the lunar perigee occurred on 12 Dec, I was trying to use the full moon to light a night shot that night. Unfortunately it didn't quite work out like I planned it.

    But I love what it's done for this shot! Leora hit it spot on when she said "velvety".
