That's my world

That is my world - Mumbai - a city full of sharp contrasts. Slums amid buildings. Trees amidst concrete. A result of overcrowding, poverty and success. A city throbbing with opportunities.

  1. I like how you described it as a city throbbing with opportunities. Same is true with many other Asian cities.

  3. We had slums like yours decades ago but now we dont have any. I hope one day your country will be the same. I love the movie slumdog millionaire. Love the musical dance too. Have a nice day.

  28. I imagine the Bollywood wealth vs. the poverty of the slums would be a good example of the extremes in India. I learned to love India during my 5 week trip there through Rotary International in Feb/March. Regards from EAGAN, Minnesota, USA!
