What happens to the stuff she collects Deepak? How does she sell it on - and to whom?
She is an employee (possibly casual labour) of the Mumbai municipal corporation, hired to pick up the garbage in a specific area and transfer it to a predesignated point from where it will be picked up by the garbage truck for disposal.
I see. It explains. So she really is collecting rubbish rather than collecting bits and pieces she might hope to sell on.
This is certainly different than the big trucks that rumble through our neighborhoods twice a week! A lot quieter also, I'll bed!
Nice street shot. That is so different from what we see here which are trucks every other week for garbage or recycling.
