Natural 'Holi'
Yesterday was the festival of Holi that marks the onset of Spring in India. It is celebrated by spraying coloured powder/water but due to Covid 19 restrictions it was muted and almost everybody was at home leaving the streets empty. It was a blessing in disguise for me as I could actually look up at the flowering trees while I rode my bicycle on the empty streets of Bandra Kurla Complex and saw how Nature played Holi with its colourful floral display.

ABC Wednesday - C for Colours of Mumbai
This post is part of the Capture the Colour competition and coincides with the ABC Wednesday -C.
Have posted 5 colours of Mumbai that I see daily as I travel and commute in this lovely city.
Blue is the predominant colour seen as monsoon approaches. Clicked this on the street leading to Bandra station.
In an effort to keep Mumbai Green, all builders have compulsorily plant a certain number of trees around the apartment/shopping complexes they build.
Red Mangalore tiles are the mark of the more than a century old Bandra Railway station retaining its quaintness and heritage.
White light at the end of the Khar subway is blinding at times :)
The Golden Yellow of the Golden pagoda in Gorai is prominent from afar. It is now one of the prominent 'must see' in Mumbai
To enhance the colours of the competition I nominate the following 5 to participate and show their true colours!
Nandan Tavanandi of All about Birds
Arti of My Yatra Diary
Anuradha Shankar of A wandering mind
Lakshmi Sharath of A travel blog of an Indian backpacker
Vineeta Yashswi of My Nomadic Life
