Sarvajanik Ganesha

Sarvajanik (of the people, by the people and for the people) Ganesha in Bandra east. Locals have contributed towards the festivities including the cost of the idol. This happens all over Mumbai. It was started by Lokmanya Tilak in the 1890s as a means to unite people and mobilise them for the Indian Freedom struggle.
