Missing
The fisherwoman who used to come door to door selling the catch of the day is now being missed not only by the buyers but also the cats and crows in the neighbourhood who used to be treated to the offal after the cleaning of the fish. Pre Lockdown tales.

Anarkali
One of the oldest murals in Bandra, painted by Ranjit Dahiya the pioneer of Hindi film murals in Mumbai. This is titled Anarkali after a film of the same name that was released in 1953 based on the legend of the Mughal emperor Jehangir, who revolted against his father Akbar, over his love for a commoner named Anarkali.

Super Flower Moon
The Super Flower Moon this morning at 6 am.
The full moon in May was named the "Flower Moon" by several Native American tribes because of the large number of flowers that bloom this month, according to The Old Farmer's Almanac. It is also sometimes referred to as the Mother's Moon, Milk Moon, and Corn Planting Moon, references to a time of increased fertility.

CDP Theme Day -Shopping
Shopping for veggies and tender coconuts during lockdown in Bandra east. The shoppers can call them and place your order which shall be then delivered in the lobby of your apartment complex. They generally spend around an hour outside every apartment complex.
Have taken a tall frame to include the cloudy sky too. 😀

Silhouette of people biding their time outside 'Being Human Foundation' in Bandra to present their case to receive charity. This was during the pre lockdown period.

Recycling agent
The lady who would clean up the sea shore by picking up the trash thrown by visitors and sell it to the recyclers. She is another victim of the lockdown as now there are no visitors, hence no trash. Hope she is managing to live through these difficult times. This picture is from the prelockdown days.

The daily wage earner
Wonder what she is doing now during the lockdown period. Is she going hungry? Will she make it through this terrible time and if she does, how much longer will she have to wait before getting a job? She is a migrant who had come to make a living in Mumbai and now she might not have a home to stay in.
She is a representation of all the daily wage earners in India today who are suffering the most.
This picture was taken before the imposition of the lockdown.
