This is the station road in Santacruz (East). This road leads to the Santacruz Railway station. Santacruz is a suburb of Mumbai. The name Santa Cruz comes from the Portugese words meaning Holy Cross. The name was that given to a church that existed on the western side of the railway station. Now the Sacred Hearts Boys' School/Sacred Hearts church occupies that site.
