The famous Alphonso mango, popularly known as Hapoos, cut and diced, ready to eat. Actually it is best eaten whole, skinning it with one's teeth and then biting into the delicious sweet flesh with its juice streaming down to the elbow, finishing it off by sucking on the seed, not a bit of flesh left behind. Sausage tree
A sausage tree in the Bandra Kurla Complex.
Kigelia is a
genus of flowering plants in the family Bignoniaceae. The genus consists of
only one species, Kigelia africana, which occurs throughout tropical Africa.
The so-called sausage tree grows a poisonous fruit that is up to 60 cm (2 feet)
long, weighs about 7 kg (15 pounds), and resembles a sausage in a casing. Wikipedia.

Tauktae trail
The broken branches of the tree as a result of the Tauktae cyclone that whizzed past Mumbai. This scene of destruction was replicated at almost every street corner.
