Super Worm Equinox Moon
The Super Worm Equinox Moon in the Bandra sky. 'Super' because it is closest to Earth in its monthly orbit hence will appear bigger and brighter. 'Worm' because this is the time the ground starts getting warmer and the worms appear (in traditional Red Indian lore) and 'Equinox' as it is the Spring Equinox on this day.

A dying breed
A rare instance of a 'Vasudev' seen in Bandra east.
'Vasudev' are people believed to be incarnation of Lord Krishna. Bedecked in the distinctive headgear of peacock feathers, performers sing Vasudev songs and with nimble, delicate dance steps, whirl around presenting anecdotes from Lord Krishna's life in exchange for alms. They sing soothing, melodious notes through the villages in the morning time. Historically they belong to the Satvata tribe

Bandra birds
A crow that is generally larger than the House Crow, with a relatively long daggerlike bill that is curved on the top. Entirely black with a variable amount of glossiness, they are primarily scavengers that feed on carrion, leftover food from humans, and also steal food from other birds. Their call is more raucous and harsher than the House Crow.

Ranjit Dahiya's latest mural of Amitabh Bachchan on a building in Bandra is the tallest mural (230ft) in India. Shot this from a distance of about 5 kms.

Monochrome mania
The Plastic Monster returning from the sea. An art installation titled 'It never goes away' at the Bandra Worli Sealink promenade to raise awareness about the dangers of dumping plastic into the sea.
The installation titled, ‘It Never Goes Away’ stands 27-foot-tall and is conceptualised by Mumbai-based visual artist SAGE along with execution partner Arthat Studio. Maharashtra had imposed a ban on plastic since April '18.

Bandra birds
A male Asian koel on the peepal tree outside my balcony.
Ref Wiki: The Asian koel is a large, long-tailed, cuckoo. It is a brood parasite that lays its eggs in the nests of crows and other hosts, who raise its young. They are unusual among the cuckoos in being largely frugivorous as adults. The male is glossy bluish-black, with a pale greenish grey bill, the iris is crimson, and it has grey legs and feet.
