Eco warrior

This boy rides around 25 kilometers everyday to sell tender coconuts in the suburbs between Bandra and Santa Cruz. The blue bags are for the emptied coconut shells and shavings to ensure he does not leave any litter behind him. A true eco warrior.

Gulmohar

All these Gulmohar trees are in full bloom to signify how red hot summer is in Mumbai.

Delonix regia is a species of flowering plant in the bean family Fabaceae, subfamily Caesalpinioideae native to Madagascar. It is noted for its fern-like leaves and flamboyant display of orange-red flowers over summer. In many tropical parts of the world it is grown as an ornamental tree and in English it is given the name royal poinciana, flamboyant, flame of the forest, or flame tree.Wikipedia.

Ready to eat

The famous Alphonso mango, popularly known as Hapoos, cut and diced, ready to eat. Actually it is best eaten whole, skinning it with one's teeth and then biting into the delicious sweet flesh with its juice streaming down to the elbow, finishing it off by sucking on the seed, not a bit of flesh left behind. It's an art!
